Description of LEDMOMO 1203BB Controller: πŸŽ›οΈ Adjustable and Reversible Control Powerhouse

1203BB DC Motor Speed Controller regulate the speed of the motor by adjusting Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM). Working Voltage: DC 6-24V. Maximum continuous output current : 3A. Maximum output power: 80W. The Motor Speed Controller built-in switch. You can control the forward direction and the stop of DC motor by the switch. The circuit built-in a 3A fuse. Make the use of this motor safer. Note! DC motor speed controller is connected to DC power supply. Never connect directly to household 220V AC power supply.

The correct way to control the speed of small DC motors is PWM. This allows speed control at maximum torque, which is not possible when using a rheostat instead. This one is pretty cheap and works well although I haven't used it much yet.

Pros
  • Note! The DC motor speed controller is connected to a DC power supply. Never connect the device directly to a 220 V AC household socket.
Cons
  • Expensive

Do not use anything other than 12V short cycle projects

This was my second reversing controller I bought and claimed it could handle 6v to 36v. My max voltage reached 24V so I figured it would work. I was wrong. The included wires and switches were so light that when the lying voltage was applied they began to melt. I went so far as to replace them with heavier gauge wire, but then the switch blew. The boards may still work, but are useless without a switch, or they write that they do not melt under load.

Pros
  • Operating voltage: 6-24VDC. Maximum continuous output current: 3A. Max output power: 80W.
Cons
  • Long delivery

Even with 5 volts it won't start.

This device works exactly as advertised. I thought I had a bad board then I changed the 5 volt supply to a 9 volt supply and everything snapped to life. Well built, includes handle, nut and washer for shaft. Do not reverse polarity at the input of the card (no protection). Next to the pot is a red LED that changes brightness as you adjust the power. I use it to control a small DC motor. [Revain.com/BNYZWOT-Shaft-Torque-Turbine-Geared/dp/B07XKW32TM] Great!

Pros
  • Integrated Engine Speed Control Switch. The switch allows you to control the forward direction and stop of the DC motor.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
