Why are kids shorts never made with real laces? Waist size varies from child to child. I have very skinny children so I need clothes with an adjustable waist. Don't wear a decorative tie over shorts that don't really accentuate your waist. Misleading and stupid

You get what you pay for, right? So these shorts were cheap which is why I bought them. We needed extra clothes in kindergarten. I ordered 3T but they run at least one size bigger. I'm going to tuck in the elastic, sew it on, and hem the legs a bit and I think it will be fine.
