📦 Rectangle Reptile Carrier by Lees Aquarium Herphaven Review

I ordered this to quarantine sick fish and it's great! There is a small trace of stress at the top where the cap connects, but that won't be a problem for what I need it for. The Revain packaging it comes in was eco-friendly which I think is always a huge plus.

Ordered this for 2 roaches which I ended up taking care of. A friend gave them to me and I felt bad and I wanted to decorate their interior. So I bought them these enclosures and added some branches, moss and peat for my Madagascar hissing cockroach 🪳 Perfect for a solitary beetle. Easy to clean.

We bought this to be able to transport our leopard gecko to and from the Co-op during the day and also to have a place where he can sit safely while we clean his cage. This worked well, but it had very little room to move around for an extended period of time. So be aware that it is too small for an adult leopard gecko.

I bought this for my kids to collect creatures on our beach vacation but the lid broke the second day. It's a great size for kids to carry around and I like that it's clearly visible to see what's inside. (FYI, not the best container for fireflies, they obviously seep through cracks since they're gone in the morning haha)

Not only did it come to me, it was cracked, it was full of dust and stalks that looked like hay inside. The bottom was cracked and sharp to the touch! I bought this as a potential carrier for a very small gecko but to be honest it was my fault for misreading the dimensions. Needless to say, he has a better medium than this. I really only recommend this for insect prey, not for carrying your geckos.

The box it came in is too big and has no protection for the contents. I ordered it 2 times (once as a replacement) and both times the bottom of the case was cracked. As a side note, the second one I ordered was sealed in plastic wrap, the first was not. Not sure if this is an extra attempt at hack protection or just an inconsistency, but thought I'd address it. If you can get it intact, it's probably fine, albeit fragile.
