I was looking for good left handed scissors for my sewing projects. This pair is just what I needed. Update: These scissors are great for 3 or 4 sewing projects. You no longer cut hot butter. The fabric simply slides off and is cut with scissors. Very disappointed.

I bought these for my mother who used to work in a bridal shop. She is a real seamstress. Large and a little clunky scissors but I was able to cut a pile of carpet very well. If he can do it, he can do anything! Perfect for my occasional use. However, they're a bit uncomfortable to hold (you have to stretch your thumb out a bit and balance them oddly). So if you intend to use them for long hours of work, I would suggest going for a smaller and more comfortable pair.
