I am changing my original rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. Yes, there is too much glue around the pages of the notebook, only a small area is missing glue. But I bought an X-acto knife and I'm sure I can split the sides. I read a tip where someone uses a credit card to share pages and it worked for me too. As for the paper quality, it's really good. That 300 pound weight is really important. The page didn't warp or rub when I applied rough brush strokes. I will definitely be working more on this

I took this notebook for a painting I was doing for a friend not knowing it weighed 300 lbs but boy am I glad it did i did it It has withstood countless washes, fusses, repeated touches, excessive water use, etc. and hasn't warped at all.
