Other reviewers have pointed this out, but I've decided to give my 2 cents. The notches on them are tiny and couldn't hold any of my hooks without loosening at the slightest movement. I've included a picture of the locks I have at Home Depot for comparison purposes. I only needed a few and since they are non-returnable I modified them. The bullet literally holds hooks on my board with standard 1/4" holes. Minor defects in the plastic protrude beyond the notches designed to engage the holes. I am writing this review because few things on this planet bother me more than taking the tool off my hole board and sending the hook somewhere in another galaxy. I assume you are here for the same reason. I rated the Lehigh pegs a 3 because they don't work with many swivel hooks on the market. They only work satisfactorily with straight single-bar hooks.
