Works great on my BMW z3

Works great on my BMW z3 - we converted the seats and drove the car without a passenger seat so the airbag sensor went out and I was stuck with the warning light after replacing the seat , this tool cleared the code and my airbag deployed

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

2003 E46 Repairs Best Diagnostic, Test & Measurement Tools

I have a 2003 E46 and the driver's side window has stopped working. To fix this I had to remove the driver's side airbag. Apparently if you connect the battery without an airbag the warning light will go off. In short, this thing works if you reset the lamp.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Updates

Papers should be better

Did some research on the internet to find out that our 2000 E46 has a round plug under the hood. I thought if the car had an OBD port you would use it. Also in the brochure there is a full list of codes. The rest of the tool works well and its value is hard to dispute.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Totally useless on BMW Z3 with airbag warning light

Tried every possible way to connect, disconnect, activate and deactivate the automatic key on the first or second. The only things it reads are engine related codes. Has nothing to do with airbag warning. Finally sent it back. I think it's possible that my German car didn't produce a "Deriniti" (see photo).

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • No instructions

This article did what it claimed to do

I had an airbag light on my dash and I knew there was no problem with airbags, this device did what it promised. The instructions are a little questionable, but I read the previous reviews and everything worked fine. My 2004 BMW X3 no longer has an airbag warning. I probably wouldn't have bought it if it was a lot more expensive as it's a tool with a problem for a specific machine, but I'll give it a thumbs up.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Cheapest way to reset airbag warning BMW

Worked great. It took me two minutes to read the code and reboot the system. The airbag warning light sometimes comes on on older BMWs simply because the seat belt buckle is not sending a proper "belt fastened" check to the ECU. This particular issue typically costs upwards of $100 to diagnose and fix. Not so with this little gem. Worth the money, especially if your car has those pesky little breakdowns every now and then.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Repair

Worked on my 00' Mroadster

SRS light came on randomly while driving and after adjusting the seat. Sounds like a common problem so I went with this scanner. I first got an 'E' error code when I was using OBD in a car. Fortunately, when using the round joint under the hood, everything worked fine. Just read the code and clean up immediately. I didn't have to wait for the flashing SRS light to turn off like in the videos I watched on YouTube. Def costs money, VS goes to the dealer and gets paid per hour at their labor rates

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some issues

Worked well on X5 E53 2006

When replacing the passenger side window regulator on the X5 (E53) 2006 I accidentally turned on the ignition without the door airbag connected. The airbag warning light came on. I stayed a few days. I used this tool to reset the airbag warning light. The trick is that after pressing enter for the CA menu. The airbag light started blinking and kept blinking for several minutes. I had to wait for the blinking to stop. When the airbag warning label went completely off, I turned it off, removed…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Cheap and easy way to fix the airbag light on my BMW M Roadster

Cheap and quick way to get rid of the airbag light on my Z3 M Roadster. Everyone said that you just have to disconnect, clean and reconnect the airbag wire under the seats and the light will go out. Unfortunately this was not the case for me. It usually costs around $400-$500 to take it to the dealer so they can diagnose and fix the problem. This simple tool solved my problem in less than 10 minutes. The instructions are small but enough to get the job done. It will not permanently turn off the

Pros
  • Hands free operation

  • Very expensive
