Worked well on X5 E53 2006
When replacing the passenger side window regulator on the X5 (E53) 2006 I accidentally turned on the ignition without the door airbag connected. The airbag warning light came on. I stayed a few days. I used this tool to reset the airbag warning light. The trick is that after pressing enter for the CA menu. The airbag light started blinking and kept blinking for several minutes. I had to wait for the blinking to stop. When the airbag warning label went completely off, I turned it off, removed the key, and started the car. I didn't see the warning sign again.
