I AM NOT A BEGINNER. I have been loom knitting for several years. But it would be a good choice for a beginner or a kid who wants to try. There is a lot of good quality for relatively little money. Kit includes: A large loom - 70 pins, makes adult sized hats. A small loom - 54 pins, makes child-size hats "crooked" - points the wrong way. Do not worry. Pull up and rearrange the pins. The pins are very tight. After repositioning a few of mine I had NO PROBLEM with them coming out while knitting.)

This is a nice addition to my looms, which are small enough to use when traveling (as opposed to my wooden knitting loom). Of course I have round looms and long looms. The largest oval can be used for neck warmers and the smaller one for hats. Aside from the fact that this loom offers a different size than other plastic looms, the instruction manual is by far the best I've offered on any other loom I've purchased. I really want to love this product. This is the fourth one I've ordered. The first worked very well until two pins broke accidentally. Unfortunately, on these looms, if the pins break, they cannot be put back in place. I ordered a second one but it accidentally broke. I stepped on it and a pin or two broke. I can not blame the product / company ... The third ordered was defective. The two sections where the great loom connects were damaged and broke in half in less than two weeks. I should…
