Works perfectly but mine broke after 2 years.

I have two of these, one in my home office and one in my office. The home office device was about 2 years old and started generating a "device error" every 60 seconds as the computer screens turned on and off and the computer "rediscovered" the device. I replaced the USB dock and the new one is fine again. So in my cases the lifespan of one of these devices was about two years. I left it plugged in constantly for two years, I didn't systematically turn it off every night. It drives two monitors

Decent solution for the Carbon x1

This product was basically simple and easy to use on my Lenovo Carbon x1 Touch. It takes up less space than a docking station, but that's its only advantage over a traditional station. My biggest complaints: Doesn't come with many extra USB ports, and since the Carbon doesn't have many to begin with, you end up having to buy a USB hub. If you use it with multiple screens, you will find that they don't fit. t level. I've tried multiple sets of monitors (always the same monitor) and this problem…

The feature was hit or missed. Works great if you can get a good one

There were issues and Amazon took care of it straight away with returns and refunds so I could order another. Revane, as always, in the top five. However, I suggest that you order an item that is either supplied/sold by Revain or at least made by Revain if it doesn't work. The first one I ordered was defective but the second one worked perfectly (ordered from FivestarExperience with great results!). Ordered a new Lenovo ThinkPad Dock in an open box and had to return it. I ordered another used…

The perfect product for any user!

It was not possible to buy anything through the Lenpvo shop (hard case), I took it through a dealer. Its pros: Firstly, it gives a real opportunity to organize a workplace. Put things in order on the table if you use a lot of connected peripherals. Second: greatly expands the capabilities of Thinkpad. Thirdly: provides stable simultaneous operation with multiple monitors (up to 3 pcs) and other devices. Aesthetic appearance, looks modern and solid. Saves laptop connectors. Provides power (heat,

Works great with Surface Pro and Lenovo X1 Carbon Touch

works great for me. My main steps were: 1. Connect everything 2. Install the Lenovo driver on my X1 (works for now but with some delay) 3. Install firmware update 0A33970 (most of the delays are fixed) 4. The Lenovo USB 3.0 host -Install Driver (No delay from this moment) 5. Install DisplayLink driver via Lenovo driver and then for Surface Pro 6. Install DisplayLink driver on Surface Pro 7. Disconnect my X1 Carbon and connect my surface pro and it just worked. There's a slight lag on the…

Good job on laptop accessories

I have a Thinkpad 12.5 Lenovo Twist, for those of you looking to expand monitor usability and visibility want laptop. I've been in IT for about 30 years so this review will probably carry more weight than most. The laptop is solid so I figured it would be a good platform for expansion. works as prescribed. Setup was relatively easy. It was just plug and play but you need the CD that came with it which can be annoying as the laptop doesn't have one so an external one had to be installed. I have…

Works great with Lenovo Helix!

Bought so I can use two displays with my Lenovo Helix and of course it has other benefits (especially extra USB ports). Gigabit ethernet is also apparently supported by the fact that I don't have gigabit internet, so I can't comment on that. Setup: Before connecting the dock to my Helix, I first downloaded the latest driver from Lenovo's website. After installation, I connected the dock via USB (at this point I already had the power, ethernet, and video cables connected to the dock). Some…
