I bought this battery to replace the original battery, for the computer. The new battery is not what I expected. Occasionally, after the battery is fully charged, I will unplug the power cord, and the computer will turn off. I will then restart me computer, (with AC power), and the computer will boot up. The battery is not very reliable , and I am not very happy with the battery.

This battery has not disappointed in the least.I am soooo glad I purchased this one. It also charges quickly and keeps a charge for LONG time. I would definitely purchase again.

The instructions that came with the battery said not to let it get to 0% and recharge to at least 50% when it got to 3% or it would damage the battery. Do tell why it was at 0% when received and would never charge?I have to remove the battery to use my laptop otherwise it won't turn on. The first time it "charged" it said 255% battery remaining. Great value. 4.5 hours of runtime of my Lenovo T440P. The laptop charges the battery as if it was the original OE. The "chip" fools the notebook into believing it is a real Lenovo OE battery as apposed to an after market. 1/3 price of the original OE battery. Fit and performance is identical.
