We keep buying that pre-packaged salt or pepper grinder from the supermarket and are finally done with those crappy containers. The salt comes out in huge pebbles with no adjustment to the grind. Peppers are almost microscopic. This is a great one time investment of two reusable paper shredders that are exactly what you want. They are easy to fill, the degree of grinding can be easily adjusted and are perfect for scooping and seasoning food.

Received this S/P set on May 6th 21 and it lasted up to July 19th 21 (about 2- 1/2 months) in normal use. The salt grinder will no longer grind the pink (Himalayan) rock salt I use, let alone the pepper grinder that stopped grinding regular black peppers a week ago. The grinders on both grinders are made of hard plastic and don't last long. I throw them away and buy them with millstones of metal. That's what happens when you're trying to save some money.
