For a man with a pencil neck

The look and warmth of this XL jacket is great, but the collar doesn't fit my neck diameter. I can lock it, but it's a struggle. After he zips up, the jacket pulls under my neck, creating an odd "bulge". If you have a tall, narrow neck and a normal XL build (not quite an ET character) this jacket is for you. I chose to wear early spring or fall without having to close my neck.

Pros
  • Thermal underwear. The sports jacket has a soft fleece lining to keep your body warm on a cold winter day.
Cons
  • Almost never

Not very windproof and very poor insulation.

I like the fit of this jacket. Too many bike clothes just for skinny guys. If you're stocky like me, it's VERY difficult to find jackets and trousers that fit. XL is for 6'4" male and XXL is for 6'7" male - ridiculous! It's fantastic that this jacket fits me so well. However, it's nowhere near as warm or windproof as advertised. When it's 40's outside and I'm wearing both Capilene and fleece underwear, the wind still goes below that and not even a stir, I feel like it's not insulating.

Pros
  • Windproof. The body of the cycling jacket is made of high-density fabric, which has excellent windproof and water-repellent properties. You don't have to worry about a little rain and cold weather when cycling in winter.
Cons
  • It's OK

Good value for money. Well-tailored jacket

Reviews said the sizes run small and it was advised to order a size up. I didn't think so. I ordered a large and found it a little loose around the chest and waist. (I'm 5ft 10in, 125lbs, waist 32in). If I ordered a medium (my normal size) it would fit just right. I've been outside in 35 degrees weather and I find the jacket quite comfortable in these temperatures (with a base layer and a long sleeve shirt under the jacket). The jacket is well made and I expect it to be quite durable. The price

Pros
  • Zippered pockets. It is convenient to place frequently used items while driving. We recommend choosing a larger size.
Cons
  • Sun-Sun

Looks and feels like a much more expensive jacket.

I was looking for a good cycling jacket to wear as an extra layer under a parka. I found this and decided to give it a try. I just received it yesterday and I can tell you it's a quality jacket. I'm a medium size on a Husky so I got the honey and it fits perfectly, not tight or big just right. Today I test drove it at 47 degrees with thermal underwear and a T-shirt underneath. It was very windy and hailing and this jacket kept me dry and comfortable, definitely one of the best jackets I own. I…

Pros
  • Reflector. The brand's reflective logo and stripes improve visibility during night rides, making them safer.

Great jacket for casual or sport wear.

I bought this coat this fall when we had 60 degree days. It wasn't too hot on warm days as the two open pockets on each side let the wind in; The side-entry hand pockets are huge and keep my hands warm on cold days. The jacket is a little light, but it is beautiful and well-kept, pleasant to the touch and of excellent quality. I've been using it for a good month with no problems. The waterproof material was fantastic too. Water collects on the surface and can be shaken off or brushed off…

Be careful with sizing

I ordered small at first, bust 38.5 and the size chart says 41.7 so thought I might have a little more room. Not correct! The little one was so tight it looked like it was painted on me. So I sent this one back for the big one. Which actually fits quite well. I plan to use the jacket for hiking and golfing so wanted to leave room for a few layers underneath. nothing bulky, just a few layers. This is a well made jacket and it fits your body well. As for the heat, everything is fine. Nothing…

For outdoor activities in cold weather or hiking in mild weather

Very well made jacket. This is a bargain price. However, this is a COLD weather jacket. If you are ACTIVE, it is too heavy for temperatures above 39 degrees. If you go for a walk, relax outside or play with kids I would say you can wear this jacket in temperatures between 40 and 43 but not higher. If you are at all active I would recommend not wearing this jacket unless it is below 35 degrees and depending on how active you are going to be I would probably recommend not wearing the jacket…

Pros
  • Stand-up collar. A small pocket on your jacket collar can prevent the zipper puller from biting your chin.
Cons
  • Upgradable
