    This provides a secure and quiet clutch connection. And the ability to attach a lock is a huge plus. Simple design but very functional.

    DO NOT BUY THIS. I just bought and.

    DO NOT BUY THIS. I just bought this and threw it on my car for a quick install. I tried to remove it and to my dismay the latch would not turn back. After repeated hits with a hammer and finally with a large crowbar, the bolt head was cut off. Now I have to pay a workshop to drill out the screw. All of this is because the metal insert is made from cheap soft metal. A piece of junk!

    Very satisfied after trial fit. One problem is that the threads bottomed out before the pin could push the bike rack stem against the socket. I suspect it depends on how thick your shaft is, and I don't necessarily blame the manufacturer; maybe you don't want to lengthen the thread and load the bolt into a scissors in the thread when towing? For a small load like a bike rack, that's not a big deal. I had to add two washers under the head to fill the gap and get the pen to work properly. I had…
