Great sensor! on Rough Plumbing

This is exactly what a septic alarm should be. Uses an indicator switch and a float on one bracket, not a giant float switch that gets tangled. The block is smaller than I expected but it was ok, it takes up very little space.

Pros
  • Few Competitors
Cons
  • Will be added later

Excellent backup alarm.

Easy to install and works straight away. My idea is that if the drain pump isn't working, I'll get an alert before it overflows the tank. All manual tests passed with no issues, and the alarm was loud enough to be heard around the house.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Buy this if you have a drain pump!

Anyone with a drainage pump system needs one of these. If the drain pump breaks down, this signal sounds so loud that you cannot sleep. Protect your basement from flooding with the ability to repair your sump pump before it damages your basement.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Works well! suitable for rough installations

Installation will take some time if you're short on space like me. The first install took about 15 minutes and the second only 5. However, they work great on dry tests (using my finger to lift the float!). I hope I never have to hear those things roaring all over the house!

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Negative impression

Works perfectly! suitable for rough plumbing work

Used as an overflow alarm for the storage tank in my reverse osmosis system. I drilled a 3/8 inch hole in the top of the tank and stuck the sensor in. Tested the alarm by working with the float and it works fine. The alarm is similar to your smoke detector. Same pitch and volume.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Super easy to install Plus backup battery

The unit is equipped with a mounting strap that allows you to attach the float to the suction or discharge pipe and also has a built-in battery backup to the electronics box. I had to charge mine before the battery worked. However, it was pretty easy. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because the strap that attaches the float to the tube only works on vertical tubes. I have a pump in a tank where the tube comes out of the top of the pump and runs horizontally, so I had to build my own jig to mount it…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Warning Alarm Provides Peace of Mind

Without this alarm the waste water ejector tank would rise to a dangerous level when the pump switch failed, which happens about every 3 years. When it last failed, liquid rose up the water heater drain and began flooding the room. Luckily I placed a water sensor alarm next to a floor drain and heard the alarm in time to shut off the plumbing, but this really is a "last resort". When this alarm is set, the siren will activate when the liquid level rises. 4 inches above the normal range for an…
