Great for the camera

We installed this after replacing our porch lights with a rigid ring camera. This replaced the regular switch so our teens couldn't turn off the cameras. Works great they have no idea what the key is or what the key is. No more dropped frames! Easy to install

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

Replacement for turning off the boiler to keep hands off

There were problems with people turning off the boiler in my church because the kill switch had to be placed outside the boiler room (for good reason) in the heavily frequented area of our kitchen. The VA code allows rooms to avoid unauthorized entry and this switch ensures people are touching things they shouldn't be touching.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Quality product. I'm a workshop instructor and have actually used these switches to turn machines on and off each day before starting classes or leaving for the day. The key was a bit fiddly trying to figure out how to put it in the slot but once I got the hang of it and did it a few times it's ok now. I like the fact that I had to practice where and how the key fits, so it would be difficult for someone I didn't want to flip the switch to turn on the machines.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • No machine
