Works very well for electric motors

This was a great addition to the transformer. It fitted well and saved us from having to install a second circuit breaker at floor level if we already had one on the ceiling. The transformers pull the load even when the machine isn't running, so we're trying to turn them off as well.

Product works as it should

No problem with this switch. This is by far the cheapest way to switch 480 volts on and off. There are so many limitations on high voltage equipment and alternative contactors and other equipment cost tens of times more to use. Will definitely buy it again when needed.

Ideal for turning off a mini split indoor unit

My newly installed Mitusubishi mini split heat pump provides main power (20 amps) to the outdoor unit. Power and control wires and ground (4 wires total) required a 3 pole switch to allow each indoor unit to cut power individually (in accordance with regulations). These are the only 3 pin on/off switches I could find and they seem to be of good quality but quite expensive. If you want to install the code, that's probably your only choice.
