We bought this to have a supply. Air purifiers work very well. We have 2 cats and a large dog, they all shed. They are cool! We have three 2,000 square foot houses and that seems to be enough.

An additional pre-filter must be sent with each filter. They die the quickest. I can only wash them about 2 times before they go bad. I used to be able to get a filter for $20. The price has gone up. The reason I initially chose this unit was because it had the most affordable filters. No longer.

I placed an order on March 19th and used the new filter already in April. It's June and the car lights up red for a filter change. I live in Austin, Texas where the air quality is pretty good, so it doesn't make sense to me that a new filter only lasts 2 months? Well, the official instruction says it should be valid for 6-8 months.

These are filters for a specific LEVOIT air purifier. Filter and quality seem to be good. But I didn't like the machine itself because it gave off a bad smell when it first started; I ran it in a room next to an exhaust fan to rid the air of bad smells. But I also didn't like the capacitive touch switches. Since the smell was still there after a few days I decided to return it.

These filters have helped me finally decide on an air purifier that suits them. They are smarter than most and you don't need to change them as often as every 6 months. You can also give them a "clean" wash every month to keep them clean and functional (keep an eye on the edge of the frame, keep it as dry as possible when washing). It's so easy to get in and out of, nothing to do with it. Both filters and air purifiers work very well! A double is awesome!

doesn't give you full visibility. I order them as a replacement when needed. the first lasted several months and when the notice of the change appeared; IMPRESSIVE! yes it had to be exchanged. So I think he's doing his job. The exchange was in 2 months, again I can't give the exact dates. (Yeah, how do you jot down the dates of everything you do every day and keep the notes for ages?) I'm not like, take what I give you and never ask me to look at a damn thing again. you are a pain in the ass!
