Good Product: Computers and Accessories

Fast and reliable. Very simple and intuitive product. Our only complaint is that sometimes the computer doesn't recognize it and we have to unplug it and plug it back into our Windows 98 SE PC.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Expandable

Good price, great performance

I have just received a 128MB memory card and card reader (both from Lexar) for my Sony digital camera. Both packages were almost impossible to open, but that's okay. I've heard some complaints about Windows XP driver compatibility, but I've had no problems. The prices are unbeatable compared to Sony products.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Exactly as advertised!

I opened the box, plugged the reader into my USB port, plugged in a flash drive, in this case a Sony Cybershot flash drive, and here it is! A new device showed up and I was able to access my files immediately. I love it!

Pros
  • New to the collection
Cons
  • I don't remember

Light things are good for memory cards Accessories

I bought a Dazzle "Universal" memory card reader and found that it doesn't read Lexar cards. So I took this product and it works great. I'm using Windows XP and all I had to do was plug it into my USB port and I was on my way. Works with a Sony 16M flash drive that also came with my camera.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • There are downsides

Keeps what it promises

Keeps what it promises. Have been using this product for many years. Low price if you still use a memory card. ProWorks works well and reads ConMemory Sticks, which is old technology that is no longer used.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • A few little things

Works great for computer accessories and peripherals

I needed this multi card reader because I have an old camera with an old memory card. It arrived quickly and works very well, even for a novice user.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

The best offer for the best way.

I bought mine after somehow losing Sony's proprietary camera > USB cable. I decided I didn't want to buy another cable as the terrible battery life drained more power from the batteries and required the camera to be on when transferring photos. I have to say that this is the absolute best "third party" product I have ever bought - this reader [and author] is amazing. Actually seems to be faster than the camera itself. In XP it is autodetected and works fine. The product looks quite [cheap]…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Windows XP cannot find a driver for it!

I followed the instructions and Windows XP cannot find the USB memory stick driver. Called support, no one answered. I've tried their IM live support and no one is home. The same thing happens on two different Windows XP systems, both recognize USB memory stick hardware and both claim not to find a driver for it. Finally, Lexar support emailed me back. (They never returned my call as promised) and directed me to an FTP site with an updated driver for Windows XP (not available from their…

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are errors
