They were fine in the summer but obviously not getting wet. Today I noticed that my frame no longer says "Lexus" or anything - just silver frames, all the words washed away. waste of money.

Very disappointing. About a year later we noticed that there were a few spots of rust on the license plate frame. Now it's rusting horribly and just looks awful. This is the point where I'll probably just throw it out and replace it with another frame.

Absolutely inexpensive. Most of them haven't even sold ONE frame at that price. It was one of the few that had two, so I was expecting cheap quality. Absolutely not. Nice heavy shiny chrome and Lexus badging. Fits my Lexus perfectly and looks really good. The black lettering forms a nice contrast to the silver. Replace the cheap plastic you get from the dealer.

I bought this kit to replace the crappy black plastic frames that came with my used Lexus. This product has very durable heavy chrome and the logos are raised rather than cheaply engraved on the front. It adds a bit of class and I think it will wear very well. Highly recommended! I've actually been wearing this plate frame since February 2017 and it looks like the quality hasn't deteriorated yet. The Lexus logo is a vinyl decal and has held up well in golf weather so far. I found no rust, maybe a little ringing from stone chips, I clean both frame and wax like the rest of my car and that's probably why it's lasted longer than other reviewers say. So far, so good. It's cheap enough so if it lasts me another 1-3 years I'm fine with that. Addendum: so far so good. No rust…
