The picture does not represent the product supplied

I bought this pump based on previous models I had. Absolutely delighted. This time I went for the CNC version in silver. The advertised image shows the all silver model. This is not what I received. The one they sent has a silver case and mismatched black base and caliber.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

My unit came with ABS1 but was expecting ABS2

The title of this pump mentions ABS1 but under the product description it says ABS2. I wanted ABS2 but got ABS1. For ABS1 you have to screw the hose onto the Presta valve. It's not difficult, but I'm used to not having to tighten the valve. I've also found that I need to deflate the tire to below 70psi before inflating it to around 90psi.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • There are cons

Terrible design at an affordable price

About 1/3 of the reviews have 3 stars or less. I had to pay attention to that because I hated this pump. When connecting to a Presta pump, screwing the pump fitting onto the valve tightens the nut on the stem, which closes the valve. To mount another pump, simply push the lever down and turn. This damn idea is terrible. When asked what PUMPS other road cyclists use, most say it's the TOPEAK Joe Blow Sport III.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Family heirloom: Bike pumps

Great pump. The volume is higher than that of an average floor pump. The materials are beautiful and appropriate: a durable thing. The gauge is easy to read. I personally prefer the spin-on valve because other slip-fit lever pumps have failed and leaked; YMMV. The screw-on valving allows for precise control of Schrader stems (I don't have Presta stems). Although the hose is long, it feels a little short at first to pinch it on the pump body, but a little stretch solves that problem.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

I really wanted to like this pump. He has great reviews.

I received the pump today and what I received was not what is shown in the picture. The base and dial are black, not quite silver, but that's not the problem at all. The number of strokes it took to get to 30psi hurt my arms. It literally took over 100 strokes to get 30psi on my 29" x 2.5" tire. I figured I might be doing something wrong, so I checked out the $20 Schwinn pump I had at home. Of course, a $20 Schwinn produced 5 times more air than this one. It will inflate your tires, don't getโ€ฆ

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good
