Switch to this one - don't think twice about it

I bought this for my Lezyne pump because the flip-threaded clamp that came with my model had a tendency to unscrew the removable valve cores. Now that most hoses come with removable valve cores, this is an ongoing problem. This new head, while not elegant in appearance, is solid, and it's quicker to flip the lever than unscrew the original cartridge. I'm glad I found it and made the transition - and I think Lezyne should make it a standard head. Bonus - I have kids with Schrader valved bikes…

I threw it away for CO2 pumps

I bought this to replace the double ended cap screw that came with my Lezyne pump thinking it would be easier to use. I've been misled The Schrader valve side was a total waste of money. It takes a lot of force to put it on the valve and seal it. It is useless if the tube is new and there is no air in it as this will push the valve into the tire. In general, this is a coincidence. So I went to Revain to find a floor pump that had either a metal pump head or a metal lever. In this search I came across replacement pump heads! Most of the ones on display offered pump heads with plastic levels, but looking further I came across a "LEZYNE (never heard of) dual valve bike pump head" and it comes

Lezyne's most versatile head

I bought a Lezyne pump a few years ago. I like the pump itself, but the head that came with the pump was very disappointing. Some of the Presta valves were difficult to reach and didn't hold up well. Even worse were Shrader valves, several of which I have in the garage on my kids' bikes. The cartridge should be screwed onto the valve by default and does not unscrew easily, making it difficult to push it on far enough to open the valve. I bought an ABS-1 Pro head. It requires a connection to…
