Great tool! Best in Cycling

I love this little gadget. I could save $38 and not buy an additional chain breaking tool as it works for that too. Relatively light so I'll pack it on my tribike. I love how it holds the extra main chain links and has magnets to keep them in place as well as magnets to keep the handles closed.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Disappear

Noy is as easy to use as stated in the video or description.

I have been dealing with motorcycles for many years. I do almost all of my work myself. I use masterlinks on all my bikes, 20+. I've seen this tool touted as being good for tracking and masterlinking. Well, start, yes. Stuck, well, that's another matter. This is a high price for a limited-use tool

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Magnets fall out. for cycling

It is a smart device when four small magnets are held in place. They are designed to allow replacement master links to be fitted to the instrument. It's very handy... But after a few hours of owning the tool, all four magnets pulled out and the links just fell out of the tool. I sent it back so I didn't have to fiddle around sticking magnets to myself. That's not what I should do.

Pros
  • permanent test results
Cons
  • frequency

Lezyne did not fix the crafting issues.

This is a replacement order. I have a second one and the magnets just fall out. I really liked this combination of functions, but unfortunately the magnets are not properly attached to the tool. I hardly ever use this tool and it looks like I'll have to find another solution. I've heard that Lezyne makes quality products, but I haven't touched any of them. My experience is only with this and a phone mount for my gravel bike. So far I have a tool that fell apart without much use and I'm typing…

Bad magnets and no way to loosen the solid connection.

Great idea, but Lezyne didn't pull it off in the end. They aren't glued properly. Another issue I have with this tool is that the chain tool lacks a second notch to loosen the hard link. To be honest, this might not be a problem if you have a bunch of Master Links. However, this tool is for emergencies. You can easily remove a link from the chain if you don't have the main link. If this is the case, you should have a way to loosen the connection after tightening it. Bicycle chain tools usually…
