Solves the access problem with a half-frame bag.

From the photos you can see that with a half-frame bag on my Salsa Journeyman, the usual access to bottles is difficult. Sideloading bottle cages have greatly reduced the complexity factor. The compression of the bottles is firm but not excessive. They are made of thick, rigid plastic, but flex slightly for easy access.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Easy to install and remove for cycling

I have a short seatpost tube so there wasn't much room to install and remove a bottle in a regular cage. Leznoy's sideload solves the problem. There is a left-hander and a right-hander. One can be rotated on the down tube so two can be on the left or two on the right. I use a regular cage on the downtube and the right side on the seatpost tube and keep the left side.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Very expensive

Check the packaging before installing, I had the wrong one on both sides

This is the second order I've placed for this set. Very disappointed with the second set as they were both right hand rather than right and left like my first order. I even tried changing the install order and the same thing happened. Too tired and frustrated to go back so I just left her. Make sure you check them before installing.

Ideal for use on a bike with a half frame bag.

Purchased for my half frame gravel bike. Polar bottles fit together perfectly - no problem with losing bottles even in minor accidents. I ride 20-30 miles most of the time but I've only had them for a few weeks so I'm not sure what to say about durability yet but so far they seem to be pretty sturdy. Can't say I noticed a weight difference compared to the Planet Bike front entry aluminum cages they replaced. Very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

FTW Side Loaders in Water Bottle Crates

Side pods are especially good for small bike frames where loading/unloading water bottles straight up and down is difficult if not impossible. Water bottles slide in or out of these cages at an angle, and Lezyne cages are flexible enough to hold their shape. They come as a pair: 1 left and 1 right inlet in opposite directions when both are mounted on the down tube (upper side), or 1 upper down tube and 1 down tube down. However, they have the same direction when mounted 1 on the down tube and 1

Side entry is so good

I mounted them on my road bike so I can't comment on their bottle holding up on very rough terrain but I haven't lost a single bottle on the road. Inserting and removing bottles is very easy. I use large bottles of camelbak and had to heat and bend the top tab, but I have a hair dryer and that wasn't a problem for me. However, without this modification, this bar will not line up with the narrow part of the tall bottles and will push the bottles slightly outwards. I blame Camelbak because all my

Sideload bottle cage works!

For starters I have a small frame road bike (size 50) and I bought 2 side carriers as I figured I would have no problem loading bottles. These cages look quality and I was able to fit both cages on my bike but as my bike frame is small there was a problem trying to load both cages with the bottle so I ended up just installing one and will then install the other at my wife's bike. I have a light squeeze bottle which I find to be a problem. This cage is a tight fit and I encountered some spillage

Finally found a suitable bottle!

I agree with the post that doesn't understand why everyone thinks bottles fit in this cage so well. But since most of the reviews boasted about how well the bottles fit, I decided to give them a try. I haven't found a suitable vacuum flask yet. Bottles can't even go in from the top, let alone the sides. I have a 9 inch bottle and it deploys with some force. But Camelbak Podium is 9.5 inches in diameter and you just can't get in without crushing the bottle. Until someone tells me how hard toโ€ฆ
