1. As advertised the remote works with my LG TV just like the original. This set, found at Revain, but worth being pleasant to the touch, glows in the dark.3. Turns out you can only connect one Bluetooth remote to the TV at a time. Damn. So save the second one anyway. However, it can still be used as a second IR remote control.

I bought a brand new TV, apparently my 2 year old didn't like the remote control and it has disappeared so I bought this but the voice function doesn't work. I wrote to the computer missing instructions. Also, it looks just like the original. And apart from the voice remote button (by far the coolest feature), it works well.

My old AN-MR19BA remote control broke. Replacing the exact same model number costs $37. This with a different model number cost $29.90 shipping. I thought LG wouldn't make their Magic Remotes backwards compatible, and I was right. It automatically connected to my TV and works better than the original. They mail it to you and charge you $4.77 for shipping so you don't get it for $23.50 and it took 5 days to get it. I bought it and saved 7€.

They paired with no problems, but the mouse-like function needed fixing to make it work. Just press and hold the button and they will disconnect and reconnect. Both controls had the same properties. Surprisingly, the voice recognition works very well. The printed guide is enough to get you started. The odd thing is that the user manual comes on a small CD that most modern CD players can't handle. The manual can be downloaded from the LG website.

I asked a question before purchasing this remote to see if it would work with my 2018 LG TV. I already had a Magic Remote model listed for this TV and I needed another, but it was running out so I took an interest in this one. I got two answers to my question, one said it worked fine, the other said it wouldn't work. Then I looked at the reviews and found again that they go both ways, some say "It works" and some say "It doesn't work" so it doesn't help. So I decided to just buy it and return…
