no security updates from LG or ATT

Really good phone, but you can't avoid the pre-installed ATT ROM. Some features like Wi-Fi calling have been disabled. Many malicious programs get installed as soon as you enter the Play Market. The phone ships with the June V600AM10q security patch. ATT on V600AM10w, this is the December 14th security patch. It does not receive any updates, even on the ATT network. LG Bridge and LGMobile support will also not be updated. Contacted the seller and LG and of course none of them want to solve this

Great device! I recommend

LG really impressed me with this one. Excellent ad. (Though I wish it had a QHD+ option). It's going to be nice and bright. The dual stereo speakers are excellent. They get nice and loud and the sound quality is great. No face unlock is a big disappointment for me. There's also no high refresh rate. The processing quality is also excellent. Great cameras and great battery life. Loading speed is too slow for a 2020 flagship device. Requires 30W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. Keep up…

Not perfect but worth the price

First of all. These are ATNT phones. In other words, sellers open all "unlocked" phones to unlock the system. Therefore, I am very uncomfortable that there may be scratches or stains on the surface, like gurgling, if the seller is conscientious enough. The volume buttons are on the left side, which is not normal. There is no virtual button on the bottom screen. The back, main screen, etc. must be done with gestures. I haven't adapted yet. Different sellers have different unlocked systems. The…

NO ANDROID 10 UPDATES OR SECURITY UPDATES

First let me say this is a good phone that I imported into the UK from the US. When I first used the phone I had a major issue that I think UK buyers should be aware of that Amazon and the seller don't tell you about. You won't get Android 10 updates or security patches as they don't appear to be coming directly to the phone from LG. I found out that your mobile operator sends updates like AT&T so it doesn't work in the UK. Well that's a big unfortunate issue as updates are very important and…

Beautiful phone unnecessarily undermined by LG and AT&T

I'm one of the few people who still root their Android devices. When I bought this I knew that to my knowledge there was no way to root the US version of this phone and I just wanted to live with it and deal with it to have a flagship phone with a headphone jack and an SD slot for memory cards. That was until I received it and saw the disgusting amount of AT&T virus on that thing. I use Mint Mobile so I don't need the AT&T apps at all and am forced to use ADB commands to remove them from my…
