Beware who you buy from

I received this soundbar on time. I loved the 400W system. I sent it in, put the soundbar and subwoofer back in place, looked inside the box and found no power cord or remote control. The company couldn't provide a replacement so I sent it back.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Optical sync is delayed.

For use with an LG TV connected via an optical connection. The soundtrack is out of sync with the picture. Went with LG hoping everything would work smoothly together. So far not like that. If the synchronization problem can be solved, I will be happy. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Great sound at a great price.

We bought this soundbar for our bedroom. The sound is incredible. Should have had a soundbar when we got the TV. Of course, we could spend 1k for an equivalent LG OLED TV system, but this system pays off. Yes, we use them in the bedroom, so I can't comment on how they perform in a larger room, but I think they're still a good option if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a sound system.

Buy it in Soundbars

First of all you should know that I am a sound supplier, for me good sound is a must in a stereo. This soundbar is amazing! Powerful bass subwoofer that fills your TV room with rumble. The highs are crystal clear. You'll have to experiment with different equalizer settings to find your sound preference. Oh, if you're thinking of buying a soundbar without a subwoofer, don't, you'll be disappointed. Buy this audio system!

  • Absolute Legend

Disappointed Good for Home Audio

I declined and didn't have to buy a soundbar for my LG which costs the same as a TV. That's why I chose this inexpensive system. Simply put, I'm disappointed that 400 watts isn't louder or more powerful. The sound quality isn't clear or impressive no matter what mode or effect I use. My 10 year old Polk soundbar, which wasn't much more expensive, fills the room with sound. I wanted to pair devices but I don't recommend this product or LG for their soundbars, go to another manufacturer.

crap sound. So calm. The old LG was much better.

POOR SOUND QUALITY. I bought a subwoofer to expand my setup. I have an LG TV and LG soundbar that's a few years old, but I can't add a subwoofer. So I bought this - and the sound is noticeably worse - can. Sounds like using a flat screen TV's built-in speakers, despite its unnecessary bulkiness. My kids even noticed right away that this new system didn't sound that good. There is NO depth in the bass, I put it in the corner on hardwood. Volume is a 60 out of 100 just to be as loud as my…

I really wanted this to work!

Ok, that's it. I have a new LG OLED TV and wanted a soundbar to improve the overall sound of the TV. I read the reviews and while they were mostly good, there were a few bad ones. So here is my conclusion. I hooked this up via HDMI ARC and the sound wasn't very good. Tried activating eARC. Better not so much. Tried optically. It was fine, but I liked being able to control the volume from one source, ie the TV, and didn't have to use one remote for the soundbar and one for the TV so there wasn't

Sounds great though. for soundbars

Sounds very good. Got this to replace the Pioneer soundbar which I love (on my living room TV). I fled with Pioneer to put in my office. Anyway, about this soundbar. This LG soundbar sounds really good right out of the box. After playing around with the levels a bit, I ended up with +1 highs and +5 lows. In terms of sound quality, that's what I was hoping for and the price is excellent (at least for my particular purchase) for a 400W unit. Cons: - HDMI ARC is buggy for me. I have a TCL TV and…
