Convenient Drive for Computer Users

As a computer enthusiast, I have tried different optical drives for my system, but the LG WH14NS40 internal drive stands out from the crowd. It is a reliable and efficient drive that meets my multimedia needs. As a result of my tests, I determined that this drive performs excellently in reading and writing CDs and DVDs, with fast transfer speeds. Another positive aspect is its compatibility with a wide range of computers.

NO POWER CORD, otherwise works fine

I would give this product 5 stars but it does NOT come with a Molex to SATA adapter as pictured. Only one SATA data cable is provided, which connects to the motherboard. This won't be a problem for most people, but all of the SATA power cables on my PSU are connected to other internal drives. I did not order a separate Molex to SATA power supply, thinking that this drive would come with it as pictured. As a result, I had to spend $8 on an AC adapter and wait another day for that cable to…

good drive, software is a scam

drive is good, nice design. I got the version with mounting screws, SATA cable, SATA power supply and Nero software. My main complaint relates to the very misleading advertising of this package. There's a nice picture of the Nero software CD, but the one you get has a TRIAL plastered all over it and won't play BD movies without a paid upgrade. I say just get a bare drive unless you need other cables and screws. In my opinion, the software offers very little added value as you can still find…
