The plated holes are pre-tinned/pre-coppered and very solid which make them very easy to solder components on. Pre-tinned plated holes on the board make it very handy to solder components and sensors for your projects. FITS FOR LARGE, MEDIUM AND SMALL PROJECTS - You can keep them connected for larger projects or snap them to smaller sizes for medium or small projects. Amazing DIY Arduino Board with Soldering Compatibility

Based on our own experience, this has been nothing short of a perfect purchase for our DIY projects. The soldering compatibility along with Arduino adds more sophistication to our work. The quality of the board has been amazing and it serves its purpose well. The only con is the price point, but when you compare it with other similar products, it's worth the investment. This product is a must have for anyone who's into computers and DIY electronics.

It should be double sided - the product I received is printed on one side, poor quality

This belongs in the dustbin. The product description says they are double sided with metalized through holes. What I received were single sided inferior boards with pads peeling off when soldered. Useless.
