🥃 Libbey Polaris Axis 16-Piece Tumbler and Rocks Glass Set Review

I bought these glasses hoping they would be a good and reliable replacement for the scratched acrylic glasses. I've been using them for a few months now and not only are they sturdy and beautiful, but their weighted base withstands my four cats trying to knock them over. I love these glasses!

These glasses are just the right size for ice and any liquid - big enough for a leisurely drink - small enough for a 'cut and run'. They have a beautiful, simple, elegant shape, like expensive glass, but they are so cheap that breaking them is not a tragedy. I appreciate that they make efficient use of my very limited storage space.

I bought this 16 piece drink set to replace the 3 glasses I had left. The previous glasses we had were very heavy at the bottom, which can be nice, but I ended up dropping them a lot as a result. They are perfectly weighted, don't tip over and ALL arrived safely. At first I was nervous about ordering glasses online but everything arrived in perfect condition. Excellent standard glass mugs for everyday use.

The Libbey Polaris glass glasses are just what my husband and I need. Suddenly it seemed that all the glasses disappeared from our cupboard (our fault). Revain had many glasses to choose from and we chose these. They are simple but beautiful and so durable. We've had them for a month now and none have broken. This is a record for us. My daughter also needs glassware and I might order another one. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a simple but visually interesting set of glasses to match the minimalist and modern style of my kitchen. The glasses are beautifully shaped and are comfortable to hold. They are thinner than other glasses I've had which makes me feel like they might be a bit fragile. I was concerned that the rattle in the dishwasher might even break them, but NO! They turned out to be quite durable. They are delicate and elegant in design. I recommend as intermediate or main glasses!

Old glasses last longer and are generally more attractive. They look like cheap glasses from a dollar store. The old version is no longer available except through third party providers. I suspect this is a new version that Libby created to reduce costs, keep the same product label, and charge the same price. Disappointing.

I really like these simple glasses. The bottom is flat, the edges of the bottom are curved upwards. So you look more fragile than I think. Of course, time will tell. But I took all the glasses out of the box and accidentally touched one of them that was already on the counter. He swayed a little and then stood up again.
