Liberon Steel Wool Pads - Enhanced Grade Review

I found steel wool for furniture finishing is different. You will get much better results if you use high quality steel wool and if you can make larger pads. Yes, it costs more, but it erases the coating much better.

It works but I don't really notice much of a difference from the cheap stuff you get at Walmart or HD/Lowes. The staying power is about the same as cheap stuff and the results are almost the same. This stuff is a little better. Not worth the extra cost IMO.

Bought because the Briwax version was expensive and had to be shipped from England. I don't like it as much as Briwax. The packaging is not as convenient as the Briwax dispenser packaging and the steel wool is much thinner and seems to crumble more. I use steel wool between coats of TruOil or Shellac when finishing guitars. Both brands are good, but next time I'll use Briwax again.
