I use it with my Chevy Tahoe and a nylon snap strap. I don't drag with him, but with this one I drag. Chevy doesn't use tow hooks in the rear, so you really need something like this to make towing easier and safer. High quality! Obviously an easy setup! Love the plastic so it won't scratch the paintwork during use as it can withstand heavy use (get someone or yourself out of the ditch and the mud!) but it definitely adds character to your application! The value for money is not bad. Seems well done. I haven't unscrewed the pin yet, or rather unscrewed the pin to test it. In fact, only landing in the receiver of the truck bothers me. Not just loose, but very sloppy, like 1/4 inch on each side, top and bottom. As well as some sort of metric equivalent used. I bought this receiver mount because it was cheap and had a higher 11k rating than the competition. Well, to my surprise, the braces themselves cost 9.5 thousand, like all the others. 11K seems to be for the receiver mount and probably the same for everyone else because they all look like they were probably made at the same place. This is a very useful clutch. I bought this to make it easier to attach tow straps to tow things around my property. He survived the weekend just fine retrieving fallen trees from the forest. This hitch is exactly as it looks, gloss black and red and is quite heavy so expect it to be to the advertised specs. The plastic bump on the strut itself appears to be well bonded, I don't think it will fall off easily, nor will the strut pin, although over time as it is threaded it may come out as I have read in some reviews read happened.
