Excellent Hardware Quality

Any door that uses it to open/close frequently will wear out faster. I was impressed with the design and the voltage they offered compared to a provider I've used in the past.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • No Performance

Made in China Good for catches

I used this on a kitchen cabinet. I pre-drilled the mounting holes during installation. When the fastening screw was handled carefully, the screw head broke off. Please check your application before using this product. I would not recommend this product at all.

Does the job! for locks

I wanted them for an old double door in the basement that had broken original locks. I saw other reviewers mention that the screws sucked and I didn't want the hassle, so I used mine right away. They work and keep both doors closed, even the one that tries to swing open! Will be updated if they don't work.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Expensive

An excellent replacement for antique furniture

I inherited the sideboard from my grandmother and everything has remained in perfect condition except for the door latches. I've replaced the latches with ones that are over 50 years old and it was as easy as taking the old ones off and using the same screw holes for them. The doors are finally closing properly. I measured the old ones before ordering to make sure I got the same size.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Crumpled

Simple solution for renters

One of my closet latches broke a few months ago. Looks shabby with a closet door that doesn't close all the way. And I live in an apartment. Who is really calling the landlord about this? Stay off the radar so they have no reason to raise your rent. amirite? Very easy installation. Be sure to drill some small pilot holes (from what I've heard from other reviews, screws break easily) and carefully screw it in by hand. Traction is not very strong, but holds perfectly. All in all easy to fix. It…

The included screws are black metal and the heads are fragile. Truth?

I fitted these latches to a mahogany cabinet door. Mahogany is not a very hard wood. I pre-drilled the holes with a 3/32" bit and carefully inserted the screws with a hand screwdriver. The heads of the first two screws broke off when I pushed them against the wood. I threw away the rest and used 30 year old screws that I salvaged from a previous job. They all worked fine. For an American company (Liberty is in SC I think). It's just crap. You look better. Don't buy these bars, or if you (and…
