Perfect replacement. Substitute for 5 minutes. Fits and works as it should. I'm not sure why people mention that it looks different than the original. After installation it's not visible, so really what's the difference?

Installation was very easy just be careful not to break the little plastic tabs when removing the cover but if you do it's not the end of the world. There are no instructions but it is very easy and there is a very helpful overview to follow.

The handle is a direct replacement (OEM) for the center console. The latch on my 2009 GMC truck broke and it was very painful not to close it. Found it, watched a YouTube video and replaced it in 10 minutes. Great product and exceeded my expectations!

Watch a YouTube video showing how to open and pry the top of the console to replace the latch. These locks are of the same quality as the originals. I don't expect any more or less durability than the original latch so buying a set of 2 is great as I will likely need them in the future.

I bought two packs because my friend and I have a 2011 and 2009 Silvaerado and installed new fasteners to replace the broken ones. They work great now and hopefully in the future, but time will tell. But I would recommend them to anyone as an inexpensive replacement for all 2007-2009 Silverado armrest latches. I will buy these again when needed.

Great product! Works as it should. Replaced one in my personal truck and also in my work truck. The inner cover, which you must remove to get to this park, is held in place by 4 screws (one in each corner) but is also factory locked. So you'll have to pry it off a bit even after removing the screws. However, this is not a problem with the product, just something to consider when replacing it. Thanks for a great product!

Factory latch broke on my 2011 Silverado. At first I was very upset, but I found this replacement and quickly ordered it. This latch is so much stronger and stronger than the factory latch that I wish it had broken sooner! My factory lock was weak and occasionally accidentally unlocked. This is no problem with this closure. The installation takes about 5 minutes. Honestly, it's worth changing even if it's not broke just to have a stronger one.

It was very easy to fix just a broken latch! I spent almost $30 to install a brand new center console top but then I found this. Installation took less time than deciding what music to play in the garage. All you need is a Phillips head and a bit of Torx 20. Unscrew 4 torx under the cap, then remove the cap (carefully I broke one of the snapping parts) and then use a Phillips head screwdriver on the two screws that hold the button.
