Disappointing LED light for your aquarium

This LED light is not worth the hype. Despite claims of being ultra slim, it looks cheap and plasticky. Plus, it barely provides enough light for my plants to thrive. On the bright side, at least it was affordable. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone serious about their pet supplies.

Pros
  • Easy to install and set up
Cons
  • No color needed

Doesn't always turn on

The light doesn't turn on properly when you press the button. Instead, it will blink on and off until it magically decides when I want to turn it on fully. When it is on the light works very well and keeps my aquatic plants growing well. I would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Fish and aquatic animals
Cons
  • Not sure

False advertising with it.

This grow light is too dim to grow plants in aquarium over 5-6 inches deep even in dim light. I also doubt the spectrum claim because there are no blue LEDs at all. I bought a 24" model for a deep 24" x 18" tank [width x depth] and the light didn't reach about 5" deep so for this aquarium with plants that are tall, need medium and low light, completely useless levels. it said. I moved the light into my 24" x 12" [width x depth] low, medium and very low light tank that was planted with plants…
