Fantastic shock absorber, strut and suspension product

added it to my 2001 Mustang after I lowered the car about 2 inches. The airbags eliminated the stiffness of the stiffer springs and improved driving performance by 100% even when driving with minimal pressure. No more sagging or hard-hitting potholes or sharp road bumps. Since most automotive air pumps won't read pressures below 20psi, I would also recommend looking at Revain for a low pressure air pump with a gauge such as the Revain. B. a Wilson NCAA inflation pump with pressure gauge.

Just what the fox body needs

My third of these kits I will be adding to another Mustang soon. My first kit still works fine on the Mustang I added it to in 2001. The car spins like it's on rails and jacks up the tires like a dragster when it starts. The rear triangle is gripped much better with the left fishtail. Worth twice the money. Remember to use a separate valve to vent them. When you use a T-valve to vent both sides at once, it moves air from side to side like you're piloting a boat, the opposite of what you'reโ€ฆ

Very poor build quality.

I either received old goods or it is just an inferior product. I tend to think this is a poor quality product. I ordered this product and installed it on my 1994 Pontiac Firebird and vented each side separately at 30psi and after 2 weeks an airbag ruptured at the seam where the two halves were welded together. I ordered a second set to get another airbag - I didn't have time to wait for the manufacturer - and continue to commute my car to work every day. Since then another bag has ripped. Iโ€ฆ

Changes the suspension characteristics and creates a rough ride.

Pretty easy install, although they shorted a yoke and had to go into the auto zone. And it holds pressure really well even in really rocky terrain on the Colorado 4x4 track. But the ride is TERRIBLE. I figured I'd use them to add an extra inch or two of lift to my OEM shocks, and I did. But it wasn't worth the inconvenience of the trip. I let out a lot of air on the trail and it helped. But releasing air kinda defeats the purpose of airstrikes, doesn't it? I will order real coil springs andโ€ฆ

Worked great. Installation is not very good.

The same kit will fit the Isuzu Rodeo I installed it on. The installation process is very easy if you follow the instructions. The only real problem were the mini hose clamps. The clamps are a cheap pinch clamp that you have to "try" to put on the hose fittings without being able to see what you're doing. Attempting to insert pliers between the coils of the spring is nearly impossible. It only took a few minutes to install everything, but it took almost an hour for the clips to installโ€ฆ

Pneumatic lift 60797 rear air spring kit Success

This kit was relatively easy to install on my 2001 Pontiac Trans Am with WS6. The hardest part was finding an inconspicuous but accessible Schrader valve and routing air ducts to it. It wasn't a kit issue, it was a "user preference" scheduling issue. I ended up installing the Schrader valve in the L/wheel well where it should be fine, no road spatter/dirt issues as the cap protects the valve and I still keep that area reasonably clean. Functionally, the kit works exactly as planned. as I haveโ€ฆ
