Ideal for shock absorbers, struts and hangers

Ideal for 2000 commuter lift gates. Easy installation. Good solid holding power. Will be updated with a review after daily use.

Perfect fit easy to install

I watched youtube videos to install it. They are easy to assemble and fit perfectly. The only downside is that they make a "slight" grinding noise, like something inside isn't lubricated. Hope they hold up!

It was so easy to install

I liked that they were so easy to install. It literally took me 10 minutes. My old ones stopped working and the door had to be raised. When installing, I just watched a YouTube video and was able to do it myself with little effort. Great price and delivery was quick.

Perfect fit and delivery on time

Units arrived well packaged and installed with no problems. If your old stanchions are no longer holding the tailgate, it is recommended that a helper hold the tailgate open while you replace the stanchions. All you need is a small flathead screwdriver and ten minutes of your time to swap them out! One of the easiest DIY car repairs!

Easy Peasy Installation

01 Tahoe, use a 1/8" flathead screwdriver to remove the clips and the old uprights will pop right out. Then simply use the heel of your hand to reattach the new posts. easy 2 minutes for a part time job. Please note that you do not remove the clamps on the new spars. Just click on it after removing the old ones. But be careful, the door may fall off during installation.

Great replacement rear door pillars at a great price

Looks great, is easy to install and works great! Put the tailgate on a 2003 Suburban so the door slowly lowers over my head as I load stuff in. When it got cold, the door closed quickly and I knew quickly that I had to do something. The best part is that they are inexpensive and very easy to install. My only complaint is that there are no instructions so it took an extra 5-10 minutes to figure out how to remove the old one and install the new one.
