Great replacement for trunk opening problems.

It was exactly as advertised, perfect fit for the 2010 Ford Escape XLT. The exchange works great, the tailgate opens again as it should.

Easy to fix 2010 Ford Escape

The tailgate stopped working when my taillight went out :(Bought and fixed the door and light in about 10 minutes! Perfect fit, easy to install, works like a Magic !

Quick and easy installation

Wow, it's a nuisance to be able to access all your data through glass. Trying to get the stroller in and out is not fun and quite difficult for the woman. I fixed this part in about 5 minutes. Find a YouTube video for replacing. I followed the steps exactly. 2 days after replacing this hinge, one of the hinges on my glass broke. Brilliant. A set has already been ordered.

Fixed and annoying issue

Our 2012 Ford Escape tailgate wouldn't open, the actuator would fail and not open when the button was pressed. The installation required several steps such as: B. Removal of the interior panels on the overhead door, and some necessary tools, which took about 30 minutes. This Escape model requires a T27 Torx bit to remove the drive and a Phillips screwdriver to remove the bezel. A long flat head screwdriver or small pry bar can be used to remove the clips on the panel. There are 3 electricalโ€ฆ
