Great price on motors

Fits perfectly and was much smaller than Autozone and via Riley both places wanted 270 plus tax. Lift doors now open and close.

Pros
  • Weight

Failed after 6 weeks

Bought a replacement latch for my 2008 Yukon on July 21, 2020. On September 1, 2020, the lock stopped working. I'm trying to figure out how to contact the seller for a warranty replacement.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No

Short term fix for parts

This fixed my suburban problem where the tailgate wouldn't open and showed it was still open when closed. It seemed like a good price BUT it's now three weeks since my return date and it's not working properly. Spend the extra money and buy a longer warranty local part!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are problems

Doesn't fit my 2007 Tahoe

Fitted, motor runs but not properly aligned on latch - if the latch in motion tries to disengage but won't open - the tailgate will not open . I had a heck of a lot of time to manually open the back door. removed and returned to Revain - got a new OEM tailgate actuator. Went straight in and worked like a charm.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Can't remember

Fixed problem with my tailgate

My tailgate on my Saturn Outlook 08 stopped working at all. First it unlocks instead of opening or closing automatically, then stops unlocking altogether. I figured I would have to replace the lift motor and latch which I was told would cost around $1200. But I figured if I could just replace the latch with somewhere it opens, I could open it by hand and not empty my bank account. To my surprise, when I installed the new latch, everything worked as it should. Took me about 30 minutes. To…

  • Free for educational purposes

  • There are cons

My wife's 2008 Buick Enclave had problems with the tailgate not opening electrically with any of the buttons. It will make noise and unlock, but not rise and open. This is a common liftgate actuator on many GM vehicles with automatic opening liftgates such as the Enclave, Tahoe, Traverse, Suburban, Enclave, Yukon, etc. and on many years of models. The exchange lasted, at least in my '08 enclave, only 20 minutes. Necessary tools. A 30 Torx T-wrench, a 7mm socket with extension, a small flathead…
