These automotive liftgate springs are a waste of money. They barely lifted my car's hatch and only worked for a few days before losing tension. The whole product seems poorly made and not worth the investment.

Stands fit well, great price but they are too strong. The first time I opened the trunk after installing new luggage racks, I almost lost my teeth as the trunk lid flew off with great force. Now you need to hold the trunk lid while opening it. This is in my elderly mother's car and I am concerned that she may get hurt. Now I buy different racks.

I ordered this pair for Sonata 08 hoping they will heal the trunk lid with a dead weight. One reviewer complained about the opening speed. I relied on that as a bit overkill. So at $8 a piece I'm in.
