WARNING WARNING Suitable for fuel system

What a great pump! The work is great and pretty well done. Would I buy again Update from 05/08/15 Well, it didn't last long and today it stopped working completely. Called the manufacturer and got a scolding from a guy who said he had already submitted the return information. History changed several times. Want me to pay shipping and I just bought a pump on 3/31/15 which means I can't return to Revain (more than 30 days) so I just screwed it up. WARNING::::::: I do not recommend doing business…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Concise manual

Works well. With a few draws.

This pump does a great job of pumping lots of gas fast. But I had a few issues: the auto shut off stopped working after a month so I sent it back to have it replaced. So far, so good. BUT. when filling small tanks (lawn mowers, etc.). The amount of gas left in the hose when the auto shut off is activated is enough to cause your tank to overflow and overflow. I don't know what they could do to improve it but it is what it is. All you have to do is keep an eye on the tank and manually shut off…

Works well. best replacement parts

This is a cool little device for transferring petrol from a bottle onto a mower/lawn mower or car. I usually spill gas when trying to fill up by knocking over a gas can. This allows you to keep the gas bottle on the ground. Especially good if you have a large fuel tank. The automatic fuel cut-off is unreliable, as I have found out several times. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Don't turn on the pump and let it do something else. You can go back and find gas anywhere. I don't know why…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

A very limited app.

I think it's my fault. I was just looking at the big picture, not the small sides. The picture is a little deceptive. It seemed to me that the inlet hose is the longest. I wanted to be able to pump gas from a pickup truck into a can. Won't work for this. If I had to pump gas from a canister to a lawnmower I would use a funnel, it's a lot cheaper. If you can't lift it, get a smaller gas bottle, about 2 1/2 gallons. You still have to lift it to get in and out of the trunk, carry it home and back.

  • Best
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Don't waste money!

This pump is thin, cheaply made and has a very weak pumping capacity. There's no reason to charge $59.99 for it; It couldn't have cost more than $10 to make. I would definitely not buy this again. Bought for pumping gasoline from 5 gallon cans to appliances and vehicles. I lick and drip gas. No water flows when I put the canister on the ground next to the car, so I have to keep the canister level with the filler neck where I put it, defeating the purpose of the pump, which is to avoid them to…

Gas lift pump fits fuel system

I originally bought a different version of this pump and sent it back because the pump didn't go through the gas bottle opening; although the manufacturer claims that the pump works with all commercially available gas cartridges. Therefore I returned the product. I later saw the updated version on Revain and decided to try the product again. When I tried to test the new version I found the same problem with the pump body. It didn't fit the mouth of the gas canister. I decided to cut off the…
