This is the star I've been looking for for years to add the perfect finishing touch to my Christmas tree. That is beautiful. It's strong enough and light enough to sit up a tree with ease. The craftsmanship is beautifully done.

After using it on my tree for about a week, it stopped working. I took it off, disassembled it and made sure all the wires were fine and then it caught fire again. But he was practically new, too soon for something like this. I don't feel like it's going to be a long job.

I was looking for a lighted traditional star. It looks beautiful both plugged in and off. Some reviews said it was light enough for an artificial Christmas tree. While I agree that the weight works, the problem is how to attach it. I wish it had a wider spiral base to fit over the top of the artificial tree. It's a very thin hose.
