Shine - NO Staining TRANSPARENT Henna

I really got a lot of shine from this henna and it was just what I was looking for. The application is messy and I knew that from using henna a few years ago. Adding water to henna and getting a smooth paste was almost impossible, at least for me. Lots of lumps I couldn't break. Next time I'll add some yogurt like they suggested. He did what I wanted and it added to the shine. After my second use I will update if the results improve with the addition of yogurt.

The color is not burgundy

My hair is naturally light brown, bordering on dirty blonde. I tried the sample and the hair I tested the henna mixture on turned out to be a very dark brown. I would describe the color as similar to dark chocolate. No shades of red on the site. Note: I let the henna dry for 30 minutes before applying, then applied it to my hair and left it there for a total of eight hours. So I definitely gave enough time for the henna to activate. I think the indigo they add to this henna is just superior…

Good product for naturally colored hair

I bought this set of three boxes. I only used one box but it worked very well. It contained a sachet of henna, instructions, a pair of disposable gloves and a disposable pouch/net to hold the hair in while it was soaking in the product. It's important to do your research before using henna as it works differently than other dyes, but it worked great for me. I mixed it with lemon juice and black tea to get the right shade of red. The smell of wet henna is quite unpleasant (Wet stable? Wet dog…

I just darkened my hair

I am a natural redhead but overall a darker and more muted redhead. I bought this product to lighten my hair to a more natural and vibrant red. I followed the instructions word for word, but now I'm a brunette dreaming of having my red hair back (no offense to those who are brunettes). And it's not just a little brown. No, now my hair is almost black because it's so dark. I wouldn't recommend this henna dye if you don't want to lose your days of shiny hair.

Bruises and no red

Hair doesn't turn red at all. My hair is light brown/blonde and all I see is brown and a surprising amount of blue. I didn't know there was much indigo (makes hair blue) or amla (makes hair darker) - NOT AT ALL like the published chart. My hair is now noticeably darker with weird bluish green specks. It feels a little better but still smells like henna and has a bad color, definitely not recommended.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Henna is a healthier hair coloring option!

Tried Light Mountain (black) natural organic henna for the first time about 15 years ago. After using popular drugstore brands at times to hide some gray hairs, I finally decided to use Light Mountain full time 5 years ago when the graying around my hairline was increasing. The reason I switched was that I learned about the possible link between chemicals and dyes in hair dye, particularly those used on blacks, and bladder cancer. In the last 10 years a dear friend (age 60) and a close relative
