Comfortable to hold, no need to open, just push the button. I've found that if you press the button too quickly it doesn't light up, but if you do it carefully and slowly the light comes on every time. We should have a window to see when it's empty, but the leather in the stitching feels good in the hand.

I am very happy with this lighter as I smoke my pipe every day and needed a refillable butane gas lighter with a soft flame to ignite tobacco. For the price, this is great value, especially as I found it worked very well. It's compact and light enough to carry around in my bag without noticing it there. The customer service representatives are also very responsive and helpful.

The appearance of this product is attractive but deceptive. At the sight, the user can immediately imagine and look forward to the pleasant smoking of his favorite pipe. Unfortunately, this feeling disappears as soon as you try to use the lighter. This is immediately and permanently frustrating as the user takes one try after another but is frustrated by the smoke coming out of their ears and not the pipe. I would love the light!

After reading so many good reviews I was delighted to receive my pipe lighter. No more burning your fingers when using BIC to light tubes. Unfortunately my lighter doesn't work like all these great reviews. Mine lights up about every 10 clicks. It's complete. I tried two different butane gas bottles just to be sure. It doesn't matter if it's high or low. In fact, it only (rarely) lights up when it's almost completely off.

This is about half of what I expected. It is so small that sometimes it is difficult to find it in your pocket. And I have to remember that I fill it up every day or two.
