Never buy again

The lens is cracked and my son was not injured while welding. I would be angry if he lost his eyesight! Thank God he didn't, and stopped as soon as he saw the flash.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some defects

Very fragile and too thick

Worked great until the lens broke and stopped working. It's too thick to fit in Honeywell's tiger hood. It would be great if the customer service was better so I can replace my broken product.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Some little things

Can't stand the heat

First of all, I like the 4c lens. So easy on the eyes. That's why it gets 3 stars. I use FCAW and MCAW all day and this lens can't handle the heat. On the left it's really blue and on the right it's a bit green. It's still running, but it's less than 200 hours old and I don't think I'll be buying another one after that.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

No HD for the price. Update arc.

Color classic green. Not HD as it should be. It's too thick to fit in the fiber metal fold-down front. Wouldn't buy again Update: After a few days of only an hour a day I got arc flash. I'll stick to singles from now on.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Updates

The best lens for clarity, not price and durability.

I love Lincoln electrical products and have used them for many years. This is the first product I don't like. I changed 2 lenses in 6 months. After the first one broke I figured it was just an accident so I ordered again and it happened again. It's not worth spending money if the product is short-lived. Went with a Tefuawe lens and no problems so far for half the price.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Frequency

Good customer service

Received late November. Have only used it a few times. It started flashing when I'm not welding and just do it for at least 45 minutes. Well that was the last time I checked it. Contact Lincoln Electric Customer Service. They told me to take it to one of their dealers and they can give me a guarantee.

Pros
  • High temperature ABS lens case for lens failure due to heat deformation
Cons
  • Available in white only

Love the transparency of the lens but the shell shouldn't be that thick! Says it will fit most 2x4 cowls but not a Hunter slider at all! Took forever. File the shell to fit. Kind of silly, otherwise works great and doesn't light you up at all unless there's a lot of stuff in front of your hood.

Pros
  • 4C lens technology eliminates blemishes and color saturation to deliver clear images of ground material, arcs and puddles, reducing eye strain.
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Protect your eyes and DO NOT BUY

I thought this lens was good but I've only had it a week after charging it in the sun for several hours (like they recommend) I still sew, do welding. So I wouldn't recommend either this lens or the adjustable 4s! I have both, and the adjustable one eats batteries and also causes flashes. Come on Lincoln, I thought you wanted to be the best in the business. However, the first thing a welder needs to protect is that you can handle it. And obviously I'm not the only one.

Pros
  • Fixed tint 11 tints for use with a variety of welding applications
Cons
  • Not sure
