My head is working on a bigger size. That thing doesn't suit me. And don't let the mannequin image fool you, it's not very deep. Certainly will not go through your ears as pictured. I hope I can stretch it out a bit so I can wear it.

protection and comfort.

Does what it's supposed to. Protects the head from welding sparks and increases the wearing comfort of this helmet. Do yourself a favor and have two. So when you're dirty and you're in the wash, you have something to wear. Personally, I always have two in the store and one in my bucket. Just one of those things that make work more enjoyable.

Large Rimless Cap

This brimless cap is made from a non-stretch fabric. There is an elastic band on the back. The fabric is single layer so it's not hot. I'm sure it offers some protection, so consider this article lightweight. Works great and keeps sparks from burning my head. Since it has no edges, it does not prevent sparks from falling on the back of the head. I have another heavier peaked hat but this fits better and keeps me cool. I have a very large head and it fits perfectly. I use it for welding and…

You get what you pay for, which is exactly what I wanted for $3.

They wear comfortably under a helmet to avoid sweat dripping into the lens and ruining trendy modern digital helmets. I also wear them sometimes when I do a lot of polishing to keep the dust off my hair. They don't last long, fade quickly and all the Lincoln graphics peel off after a while haha. But for the $3 price point, it seems right. Order 3-4 so you can rotate them when they get wet if you work in a hot climate like Florida. If they were $4-5 I would feel left out. But so far I am happy…

It fits and allows me to leave some hair on my head when welding

I can't afford to lose more hair than nature has already taken away and I usually wear a baseball cap backwards but that will do the trick and it will be a lot more comfortable. The helmet is also easier to adjust as the adjustment strap on the cap doesn't get in the way or cut into my forehead. I can also use adhesive plaster to fix holes if the hot plaster touches it when I'm on my head. This is the tool that stays with my welding gear and works as intended. It's also good publicity for…

After the smell of burnt hair, I realized I needed something.

I wear a 7 1/2 hat and this thing fits snug and I can tuck a few ears under it with a little effort to make it fit, but it's literally a stretch. For less than $4, it would have to be unboxed for me to complain, and it gets the job done for far less than most alternatives I've found. I don't work as a welder often and only work with a cargo trailer and a small snowblower, but setting my head on fire just wouldn't happen, and my cheap little helmet offers nothing but face protection.
