This is the original Lincoln

I have replaced the ground clamp on my AHP welder. The clamp on my Lincoln welder is better so I ordered it for AHP. Except for the copper mesh, the new clip is made entirely of steel. The clamp is made in China. The welding machine is made in China, so they should get along well. The spring on this clamp is amazing. My wife cannot move it with both hands. That means it doesn't communicate with my welder. I ordered this clip because it is a great deal and works better than the original clip.

Pros
  • Welding and Soldering
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Very good, inexpensive replacement ground clamp

I deduct 1 star because the picture shows 2 screws for attaching the ground cable. Otherwise: good replacement. I had to take one and not copper bolts, I had to settle for a zinc bolt. The screw size is actually 10mm apart. The ground clip on the PW TIG welder comes with an 8mm pitch. fits. Very strong tension. All in all a great replacement.

Pros
  • Welding machines and accessories
Cons
  • A few little things

The original ground clip on my inexpensive MIG welder was cheaply made and had a weak spring. My ground clip kept falling off the small pieces I was welding as I moved it to different positions. The significantly stronger ground clamp spring from Lincoln Welding should prevent this. The copper contacts should greatly improve my grounding. Haven't tried it yet, but probably today.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • weak

Strong spring too strong for me

This grounding clamp really is a bargain. It costs about the same as the Harbor Freight counterpart, but looks a lot better, and the shape of the copper parts is better and twice the thickness. The only problem for me is that the spring is so strong that I had to use two hands to open it, whereas the Harbor Freight can be operated with one hand. I didn't think I needed such an efficient grounding clamp so I returned it. But for someone with a strong hand, this would be a great clamp.

Pros
  • Welder
Cons
  • Not sure

Good update: Welding Equipment

Great upgrade for almost all welding equipment clamps, honestly you could use this to make an affordable heavy duty interconnection cable set, it would be quite a hassle but cheaper than store bought cables and last longer. I used it to upgrade the Titanium 125 Easy Flux Cargo Port. This along with the Dinse connector and 15 foot 4 AWG filler wire, also purchased from Revain, made what I believe is the best welder for a good welder for beginners and small home and outdoor projects. I would also
