You get what you pay for

If you are reading this review you are clearly looking for a cheap computer. I won't embellish it. This is definitely a budget laptop and if you're expecting it to perform like a modern gaming PC, you're going to be very disappointed. Still, for the current price of $250, this laptop is an excellent choice. It has a solid construction and handles basic tasks with ease. The notebook itself is solid. Despite its light weight, it's more durable than any laptop I've ever owned, including the $3,000

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Context is everything

As others have pointed out, context is everything. Priced at around $250, this laptop is an amazing deal for an all-purpose laptop that isn't very fast. 5-7 years ago this would have been state of the art performance but today it is slow. There's no getting around it - it's cheap and slow. But once you overcome the need for speed, you'll have a lot of fun. The weight is heavy, the finish feels a bit premium, it's thin, and while the keyboard doesn't have a backlight, it has good contrast, is…

Premium feel with some flaws

An interesting laptop from Lincplus. I was very, very impressed with the look of the laptop when I took it out of the box. It's all metal, thin, looks amazing. I have an ultrabook that costs 5 times more than this one and this one looks/feels better. It's clearly meant to compete with something like the Chromebook - a bare-bones device that looks and feels good. This is enough to connect to the Internet and do basic office work. I don't like the rating a bit because the price is so good and…

Good Macbook clone but so many flaws, great for kids, easy to use

Pros: - Great physical Macbook clone - Nice sleek design - Nice tactile feel, not very slippery like MacBook - Extremely quiet cooling - Works very cool - Heavy rugged thick aluminum body and case all over - Good battery life Cons: - Keyboard keys and touchpad are very rough, you have to press hard (very bad) - Keyboard and touchpad are very noisy, big loud clicks (you can wake someone up cope with it) - It's so difficult to type and navigate because everything on the keyboard and touchpad is…

Affordable, lightweight Windows 10 PC

LincPlus MODEL 1411 14" INTEL CELERON COMPUTER is lightweight and I find it suitable for most basic computing functions such as word processing, spreadsheets, web searches and video calling with built-in video camera ( The LincPlus computer weighs two pounds (2#) and measures 13-1/8"L x 9"H x 1/2"D tapering to 1/4"D. Bronze gray body with rubber feet at each corner of the base. There is a notch on the front of the case to open it for use. The package includes a computer, a power adapter and a…

For money. on laptops

Pro: Inexpensive. It works with most things students might use in school. A lightweight! The screen is decent. The best alternative to a cheap Chromebook as it runs Windows. . Very slow when working with multiple windows/programs. The trackpad is far from perfect. The screen is decent, but colors wash out too often. This is not a slot machine. It's just a "good enough" laptop from a company you've never heard of. It works, everything is fine. His. accessible.

Pros
  • I look forward to
Cons
  • infinitely sluggish

Very underperforming but great screen

This laptop falls into what I would call a "homework machine" category. It's good for very basic productivity tasks like typing in Google Docs or using other web apps, but no more. Even productivity tasks get tough with 64GB of storage, but at least it's easily upgraded by adding an m.2 drive (a required upgrade). In other words, this is a very affordable laptop. Even simple multitasking slows down the Celeron processor to a minimum. That being said, the screen and keyboard are MUCH better than
