This is a kitchen utensil I didn't know about before, but now I don't know how I managed without it. I love hard-boiled eggs, but peeling them is a lesson in patience. This tiny, simple tool cuts the tedious, minute-long process down to 5 seconds. You literally crack open the shell, stick the tool into the shell, and the egg separates and falls out. That's ridiculous. I'll probably sound crazy announcing this to my friends and family, but it's so good.

Okay I'll admit it's a bit of a hassle to spend that much on 3 cent plastic BUT as they say there are certain kitchen appliances that do that can just work and not replace, like a shrimp gut or a grapefruit knife. a limited time to make a few dozen without calling a suicide hotline, buy them and smile.
