🔩 Optical Linear Actuator with Double Ballscrew Review

Exceptional customer service. I had an issue and it was fixed. Bought one of these for a CNC router. Very well done. A little heavy. Unfortunately I had to change it for my application (too long). The guide rods are made of hard stainless steel and are very difficult to cut. It is also difficult to bend the end of the central shaft. If you buy one, make sure it's the right one for your application.

I found this actuator to be of excellent quality, better than I expected. He came much earlier than expected. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the locking mechanism didn't work when it arrived. I found that the screw went to the bottom of the hole so he couldn't tighten it enough. So I had to cut 2mm off the end of the screw to shorten it and now it works great. Overall I think it was a great purchase.

This linear stepper drive was perfect for my particular machine. The guide is very tight and doesn't dangle. It also has very smooth operation. I really like the flywheel locking mechanism on the ballscrew. I contacted CNC Heechoo directly to get a different locking mechanism for a different part of my machine and they were very helpful in sourcing the parts needed. When the time comes for another machine, I will use more Heechoo CNC products.
